We believe laundromats should be trusted, vibrant social hubs that celebrate wellness, connection and fresh starts. Our spaces offer a wide range of support, including job fairs, health education, harm reduction, food, clothing and heat relief services to neighbors in need.

The Social Spin Foundation leads by example: Promoting clean clothes as a basic human need, delivering essential services to neighbors in need, and inspiring laundromats everywhere to adopt care-centered models. We provide fresh starts through simple acts of kindness.

Each week, Social Spin Foundation hosts #WashWithCare events at our purpose-driven laundromat throughout the city. These gatherings serve some of our community’s most vulnerable neighbors – including those experiencing homelessness – by offering dignity through simple acts of kindness: free laundry, hot meals, and access to essential resources.
Social Spin Foundation
Founded in 2021 by Christy Moore, the Social Spin Foundation is a purpose-driven nonprofit dedicated to building community through laundromats.
By partnering with 100+ other nonprofits, we are able to offer more than just clean clothes. We provide accessible care, support, health check-ups, employment pathways, and educational programs focused on harm prevention.
Since day one, we’ve also offered free weekly laundry to neighbors in need, as well as heat relief during the hot Phoenix summers.
